Colt McCoy Injures Thumb, X-Rays Negative

Browns rookie QB Colt McCoy suffered a sprained thumb on his throwing hand during the Browns’ 27-24 win over the Packers. The injury occurred when McCoy’s hand hit the helmet of one of his lineman late in the third quarter. The pass was intercepted.

Overall, it was a shaky start for McCoy, who finished the game 5-of-10 for 25 yards and two interceptions.
