D'Qwell Jackson Gone For 2010 Season

Stay connected for news and updates

Cleveland Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson was placed on injured reserve by the Browns today ending his 2010 season before it even began.  After missing much of the last month with a pectoral injury, the Browns finally shut Jackson down with what is being called a partially torn pectoral muscle.  Jackson missed most of last season with a similar injury.

The Browns were hoping to bring Jackson back slowly from his latest injury, but after having a set-back this week it became apparent that Jackson's future in 2010 looked bleak.  The Browns will now have a choice to make with Jackson - his contract runs out at the end of the season.

With Jackson's roster spot, the Browns signed WR Sam Aiken, formerly of the Patriots.
