Ohio State running back Jamaal Berry has been named a suspect of an alleged assault, and will be suspended indefinitely if charged according to AD Gene Smith.
According to the OSU school newspaper, Berry was identified by a 21 year old who is not a student, and the man says he was punched in the face by Berry.
Berry was released from the university medical center late last month after wrestling with another student on the ground, an incident where he was not charged.
The sophomore running back has just five yards on three carries this season.
