Benjamin Watson Week 10 Fantasy Update

Cleveland Browns tight end Benjamin Watson was held out of the end zone once again this week along along with the rest of his teammates as the Browns lost 13-12 to the St. Louis Rams. Quarterback Colt McCoy did complete three of his 20 passes to Watson for 30 total yards on the day.

Watson needs touchdown catches to bring value to fantasy players since the 30 receiving yards today match his yardage average for the season. Watson came into the game with 303 yard receiving yards on 25 receptions with just two touchdowns.

So the trend continues, as McCoy likes to utilize Watson in the short passing game. The Browns just need to make more trips deep inside their opponent's territory so those short passes can be caught by Watson in the end zone. The Browns had two trips inside the red zone against St. Louis, but both drives stalled forcing Cleveland to settle for short field goals.

Fantasy Football Week 10 Start/Sit: Browns Players Are Risky Plays This Week

This week's fantasy advice is full of good news and bad news for owners of Cleveland Browns players. The good news is that the Browns are facing one of the worst teams in the NFL in the St. Louis Rams. The bad news is that the Browns don't have many proven go-to players with both Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty declared out this week.

SB Nation's fantasy partner NumberFire does not paint a pretty picture for the Browns.

Chris Ogbonnaya - He rates as NumberFire's best player, but he is only expected to score 6.66 points.

Greg Little - He is the Browns' top rated receiver at 6.47 points, but he is only 128th overall.

Ben Watson - Watson might be a decent tight end play with some of the better ones on a bye week. He projects at just over six points.

Phil Dawson - He's a solid kicker and against a porous Rams defense he should have plenty of chances this week.

Colt McCoy - He rates as the 14th best quarterback, so he's a backup play at best.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 10: Chris Ogbonnaya Trending Up

As most fantasy leagues get closer to the playoffs many owners are looking for any edge they can. Only two more bye weeks remain in the NFL, so one week plays have high value from here on out. One such players is the Browns' Chris Ogbonnaya.

Ogbonnaya has seen his production increase with the injry to Peyton Hillis, making him a reliable play. According to SB Nation's partner Numberfire, Ogbonnaya has been averaging 10 carries per game and is approaching 50 yards per contest. He is also a possible option out of the backfield to pick some some minor receiving yards:

10.41 car, 47.57 yds, 0.81 rec for 6.04 yds, 0.4 TDs for 7.74 pts

Numberfire does rate him as a high risk player, but remember that he will get a chance to play this week against a porous St. Louis Rams defense. The Rams have only one win on the seaosn and have struggled to stop almost everyone on their schedule. Playing at home Ogbonnaya could be an option.
