According to KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Bulls are set to acquire recently waived guard/forward Richard Hamilton.
Last year, Hamilton was nearly traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a deal that was rejected at the last minute. Cleveland planned to buy Hamilton out, and the Bulls reportedly had interest in him then as well.
According to Johnson, Hamilton’s deal will likely be a two-year contract worth around $10 million. Last season was the worst in terms of points per game that Hamilton has had since he was a rookie.
