Miami's Sweet 17

Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Heat, to whom LeBron James “took his talents” because his supporting cast in Cleveland was allegedly not good enough, have — at this stage of the season — a record of 43-17. If the Heat go 17-5 the rest of the way, they will finish 60-22…which would be worse than Cleveland’s record of either two seasons ago or of last season. Remember, the Cavs were 66-16 in 2008-09 and lost their last game with mostly backups playing once they had clinched the NBA’s best record, and last year finished 61-21, and basically mailed in their last four games (all losses) when — again — the best record was theirs.

Guess LeBron should look to take his talents elsewhere, for after all, the Cleveland team of two years ago was “better” (by the sheer numbers) than the current Miami squad, and last year’s was not far behind.
