Thunder Adding Defense To Their Repertoire With 50-38 Half Time Score

Stay connected for news and updates

Known primarily for a balanced offensive game, the Oklahoma City Thunder limited the Cavaliers to just 38 first half points. Forward Serge Ibaka rejected Cav’s scoring attempts with 5 blocks in 14 minutes, and guard Russell Westbrook stepped it up at the top of the floor with 3 steals.

The Cavalier’s bench was the bright spot in this one, outscoring the opposing unit of OKC 18-5. Daniel Gibson still atop Cleveland scorers with 8, J.J. Hickson and Manny Harris added 6 a piece. Cleveland’s lowly 8 assists suggests lack of ball movement, compared to OKC’s 15.
