Dog Fight Favors Cavaliers 22-17

Stay connected for news and updates

In the pre game meeting, head coach Byron Scott preached good defense, just like he has almost every other night the Cavaliers play. This time, his message got across. The CAvs limited the New Jersey Nets to just 17 first quarter points and a shooting percentage of under 30%. The Nets could not manage a bucket in the closing three and a half minutes. Only one Cavalier turnover limited the offensive looks for the Nets, who are without leading scorer and NBA All-Star Deron Williams.
