Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Browns on Wednesday signed punter Richard McGee according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer . McGee had been on the Chicago Bears practice squad the past two seasons and was waived by the Bears earlier in the week.

The former University of Texas Longhorn will replace Reggie Hodges who was placed on Injured Reserve after tearing his Achilles tendon in practice on Tuesday. The Browns worked out several punters the past 24 hours and McGee won the job.
