Cleveland Browns Training Camp 2011: New Punter Richmond McGee Should Be Looking Forward To Game Action

Stay connected for news and updates

The Browns' new punter, Richmond McGee, should be more than ready to "get a kick" out of this coming Saturday's exhibition contest against the Packers.

McGee, you see, has never actually kicked in an NFL game.

After spending three years on practice squads, McGee will finally get his chance this weekend, although in truth it would not be a bad thing if he never got the chance, as that would mean that the offense....

Oh never mind, preseason games do not result in nothing but scoring drives for any offense.

McGee has had a hectic schedule to get to this point, and surely enjoyed the Browns' day off after trying out and making the squad, but now he can get into a game routine.

We will see what happens come Saturday. Let's hope that when the games are actually -- games -- McGee can fill in admirably for Reggie Hodges as Hodges begins the long, slow road back to (hopefully) rejoin the Browns in 2012.
