The unbeaten Ohio Bobcats came close to cracking the top 25 in this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll.
The Ohio Bobcats improved to 7-0 with a win over Akron on Saturday but still didn't quite crack the top 25 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll released Sunday.
The Bobcats received 54 votes, just behind Northwestern's 77, among teams that finished outside of the top 25. Another MAC school from Ohio, the Toledo Rockets, received two votes. Toledo is 6-1 this season. Michigan finished at No. 25 and received 96 votes.
