The Bearcats can keep their Big East title hopes alive with a victory on Saturday.

The Cincinnati Bearcats are already bowl eligible, but with two games still remaining, there is considerable potential still left in their season. The Bearcats (7-2, 3-1) enter Saturday's game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (8-1, 4-0) needing some help to win the Big East, but they can stay alive with a victory.

If the Bearcats win, they'll tie the Scarlet Knights with a 4-1 conference record. If the Louisville Cardinals defeat the Connecticut Huskies, they'll move to 5-1, and the Cardinals have already defeated the Bearcats so far this season. But Louisville's final game of the season is against Rutgers, and if the Scarlet Knights beat the Cardinals after losing to Cincinnati on Saturday, it would open a route for the Bearcats to sneak into the Orange Bowl.

It's all a bit complicated, but it starts with a Cincinnati victory on Saturday over a team that has lost only to the Kent St. Golden Flashes.

Game time, TV channel: 12 p.m. ET, Big East Network

Online streaming video: ESPN3

Point spread: Cincinnati favored by 6.5 points
