NCAA hockey heats up this weekend when No. 4 Miami (OH) travels to Michigan to take on No. 19 Ferris State.
The No. 4 Miami (OH) hockey team has started the season very well (4-1-1), but the squad will face a tough test this weekend when it travels to Michigan to take on the No. 18 Ferris State Bulldogs. Miami is just 1-1-0 on the road in 2012, while Ferris State boasts a 2-1-1 record at home, so Miami will need to be especially focused for the matchup.
Meanwhile, Bowling Green and Michigan State have a home-and-home series set up for Friday and Saturday, in which Michigan State will be the first team to host the action. Bowling Green (1-4-2) hasn't gotten off to the best start in 2012, and on Saturday they will try to improve an abysmal 0-3-1 mark at home. Both of those games will be broadcast on Comcast in Michigan.
Here is the schedule for this weekend:
Friday, Nov. 2, 2012
7:05 p.m. ET Bowling Green at Michigan State
7:05 p.m. ET No. 3 Miami (OH) at Ferris State
Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012
7:05 p.m. ET Michigan State at Bowling Green
7:05 p.m. ET No. 3 Miami (OH) at Ferris State
