Cavaliers Vs. Pacers: Cavs Break Losing Streak With 11-point Win

The Cavs will have the rookie point guard back for the first time since he suffered a concussion on Feb. 7.

Cavaliers Vs. Pacers: Cleveland Wins 98-87

The Cleveland Cavaliers were very glad to get Kyrie Irving back into the starting lineup. the No. 1 overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft had 22 points and five assists for the Cavs as they handed the Indiana Pacers their fifth straight loss of the season on Wednesday 98-87. Irving was one of five players for Cleveland that scored in double figures.

Semih Erden followed Irving with 18 points while Ramon Sessions had 13. Cleveland was in control with a big lead throughout, and had the lead over 20 at several points int he first half. The Pacers continued to struggle offensively, and Darren Collison led them with 18 points. Roy Hibbert added 17 points and eight rebounds, but the Pacers shot worse than 40% from the field for the night.

Cavalier Vs. Pacers: Cleveland Leads 56-38 At Halftime

Having lost four straight games, the Indiana Pacers are quickly falling off the pace behind the Chicago Bulls in the NBA's Central Division. Halfway through Wednesday night's game in Cleveland the Pacers are having an eerie repeat of last night's game against the Heat.

Kyrie Irving has scored 12 points already for the Cavs as they have dominated in the first half to the tune of an 58-38 lead. Cleveland has gotten incredibly balanced scoring with nine different players cracking the scoring column and 16 assists on 22 made field goals in the first half. Semih Erden and Omri Casspi have also scored 11 points and nine points, respectively for Cleveland.

Eastern Conference All-Star Roy Hibbert has 10 points to lead the Pacers, who have shot barely better than 30 % so far. Darren Collison has also scored eight points.
