Horizon League Tournament 2012: Game Times, Bracket And TV Coverage For Day One

Day one of the Horizon League tournament kicks off on Tuesday, and eight teams will be in action fighting for the right to move one step closer to an automatic NCAA tournament bid.

Cleveland State and Valparaiso are the only Horizon League teams not in action Tuesday evening, as they each earned a double bye into the tournament's semifinals by virtue of finishing as the top two teams in the league during the regular season.

Here's a look at the match-ups scheduled for Tuesday:

First Round - Tuesday, Feb. 28 (at campus sites, all times Eastern)

Game 1: No. 10 Loyola (IL) at No. 3 Detroit, 7 p.m.
Game 2: No. 7 Green Bay at No. 6 Youngstown State, 7:05 p.m.
Game 3: No. 9 UIC at No. 4 Milwaukee, 8 p.m.
Game 4: No. 8 Wright State at No. 5 Butler, 7 p.m.

The winners of Game 1 and Game 2 will square off on Wednesday at Valparaiso 6 p.m. (the host site for the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals of the tournament), and that game will be followed by the winners of Game 3 and Game 4 in head-to-head action (tip at 8:30 p.m.)
