It was an offensive struggle for the Bearcats in the first half of the Big East championship, as they managed just 14 points and trail Louisville 24-14 at half.

Yancy Gates had four of the Bearcats points, and as a team Cincinnati shot just 24.1 percent, including missing all of its three point tries.

Louisville wasn't much better offensively, shooting just 37.5 percent as a team, and each side failed to generate offensive rhythm.
