2012 Atlantic 10 Standings: Xavier Finishes Tied For Third, Dayton Is Tied For Fifth

The 2012 Atlantic 10 basketball standings are not finalized at the conclusion of the regular season, and both Xavier and Dayton ended up in the top half of the league. The Musketeers finished 10-6 in the conference, good for a tie for third place with St. Bonaventure, while Dayton finished in a four-way tie for fifth place. The Musketeers will be the third seed, while the Flyers will be the sixth seed in the 2012 Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Here are the final Atlantic 10 standings.

  1. Temple: 13-3 (24-6)
  2. Saint Louis: 12-4 (24-6)
  3. Xavier: 10-6 (19-11)
  4. St. Bonaventure: 10-6 (17-11)
  5. St. Joseph's: 9-7 (19-12)
  6. Dayton: 9-7 (19-12)
  7. La Salle: 9-7 (20-11)
  8. Massachusetts: 9-7 (20-10)
  9. Duquense: 7-9 (16-14)
  10. Richmond: 7-9 (16-15)
  11. George Washington: 5-11 (10-20)
  12. Charlotte: 5-11 (13-16)
  13. Rhode Island: 4-12 (7-24)
  14. Fordham: 3-13 (10-19)
The Flyers will face George Washington in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament on Tuesday, with Xavier playing the winner on Friday.
