The Ohio Bobcats' Spring practices concludes with their annual Green And White game at Peden Stadium on Saturday, April 21.
The 2011 Famous Idaho Bowl Champions will be playing their 2012 Spring Game Saturday afternoon along with several other schools across the country. Ohio has been practicing for a couple weeks and a full breakdown of each practice can be found on their website.
The Bobcats have had two scrimmages thus far this spring. Head coach Frank Solich was pleased with some of the improvements in their scrimmage last Saturday, particularly in the ground game, but stresses that the team has plenty to work on still. Offensive coordinator Tim Albin is encouraged that this is the healthiest the team has been in the Spring his eight or so years with the program. The team's spring roster can be found at the link.
The festivities on Saturday morning started inside Pepsi Tailgate Park at 10 a.m. with four hours worth of activities set up for fans before the Spring Game kicks off at 2 p.m. inside Pedan Stadium.
