With the season now over, the Cavaliers offseason begins with a 13.8 percent chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

With the season wrapping up on Thursday evening, the odds for winning the NBA Draft Lottery are now official. The Cavaliers strong push to increase their chance paid off, as Dan Gilbert and Chris Grant now have a tie for the third-best shot at landing the No. 1 overall pick (and adding a franchise-chaning player in Kentucky's Anthony Davis). The Cavs tied with New Orleans for the third-worst record in the league, and have a 42.4 percent chance of landing a pick in the top three. The Bobcats and Wizards, who locked up their lottery positions early on, are the only two teams with significantly higher chances of getting to No. 1 over all pick.
