Ubaldo Jimenez Suspension: Manny Acta Says Indians' Pitcher To Drop Appeal

Stay connected for news and updates

Jimenez insisted that the pitch simply got away from him, a common way pitchers explain away hit batsmen, but there's history between Jimenez and Tulowitzki that suggests otherwise.

On Saturday, Indians beat writer Jordan Bastian tweeted that Jimenez plans to drop his appeal after his start today:

The Indians starting the season with a 16 inning game probably didn't help the their pitching, either.
