When the Players Championship tees off Thursday, Cleveland native Jason Dufner will be trying to add to a 2012 season that has already included his first tour win and a marriage.
Two weeks removed from a win at the Zurich Classic and one week removed from getting married, Cleveland native Jason Dufner will try to continue his hot streak at this weekend's Players Championship, which begins Thursday.
The Zurich was Dufner's first tour win, and he followed that up last week by tying the knot. After the Zurich, Reuters quoted Dufner saying:
"It's a great way to start the week for Amanda and me....
"It's a great wedding present for both of us, helps with paying for the wedding, obviously. They're a little bit more expensive than I thought or had imagined," he added with a grin.
Dufner, 35, is slated to tee off at 1:39 ET from Hole 10. He's grouped with Ben Curtis and Kyle Stanley.
Television coverage will start on the Golf Channel Thursday at 1:00 p.m. ET . Sirius XM will have radio broadcasts beginning at noon Eastern.
