The Dayton Flyers enter the 2012 A-10 Baseball Tournament as the No. 2 seed and tied for the best record in the conference.
The Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament gets underway this week from the Bronx, with Fordham hosting the 2012 edition at Houlihan Park. The Dayton Flyers earned the No. 2 seed this year, and will face the winner of the Rhode Island and St. Joseph's game on the second day of action on Thursday. The Rams and Hawks will play Wednesday afternoon. The St. Louis Billikens received the top seed after a 17-7 record in the conference and clinching the tiebreaker against the Flyers with a 2-1 head-to-head record. Dayton's rival, Xavier, did not finish in the top six in the conference and failed to qualify for the Tournament.
