Josh Cribbs Charters Bus Trip To Omaha To Support Kent State

Stay connected for news and updates

We mentioned early yesterday that Josh Cribbs initially tweeted his intentions to make the trip to the College World Series to support his Kent State Golden Flashes. Well, Cribbs is going to send some friends apparently, as he announced yesterday afternoon that he bought 53 tickets for the College World Series and he was organizing a bus trip from Northeast Ohio to Nebraska.

The trip will cost $150 and includes bus fare, a hotel room Friday night, refreshments, and a ticket to Saturday's matchup against Arkansas. Cribbs has not officially confirmed whether or not he will be in attendance, but he wanted to do everything he could to support KSU, via the AP:

"I'm going to do my part in making sure those guys have a fan base out there cheering for them," Cribbs said following practice Tuesday. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
