2012 U.S. Open Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Tied For Lead With Jim Furyk

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods is back on top as the second round of the 2012 U.S. Open continues on Thursday evening. Woods shot a birdie on the No. 13 to put him at 1-under. He followed that up with a par on No. 14, and that is where he sits as of this update.

Furyk finished the day with a 69 to put him at 1-under. He birdied three times, on No. 3, No. 7 and No. 15. That helped him overcome a pair of bogeys. He had par on the other others to improve on the 70 he shot on Thursday.

David Toms and Alistair Presnell are close behind, both sitting at even so far through the second round. Toms shot a birdie on No. 11 and just finished No. 12 at par. Presnell is only through No. 17; he started on the back nine. Presnell is riding a hot hand with birdies on his last two holes.
