British Open 2012: Tigers Woods Is On The Prowl

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods finished off his second round in classic fashion by sinking an amazing chip-in birdie from a deep bunker off the 18th green. After sinking the shot, Woods concluded the day at 3-under, which was the same score he finished with on the first day.

It was just Woods' second birdie on the back nine at the Open Championship this week, and it helped him break away from a pack of five golfers tied for fourth at 4-under.

Woods now sits only four strokes back of the lead for the tournamnet and owns sole-possession of third place.

With Brandt Snedeker at 10-under and Adam Scott at 9-under, Tiger is officially on the prowl by setting himself to take the lead over the weekend.
