Jordan Hall Injury: Urban Meyer Addresses Injury, How Ohio State Will Adjust

On Thursday, Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer was co-hosting a free football tournament at the SPIRE institue near his hometown and had the chance to answer some questions regarding the upcoming season as well as the impact of the foot injury to running back Jordan Hall.

Hall is expected to miss 8-to-10 weeks following surgery on his foot after he stepped on a piece of glass.

Via Zac Jackson of FoxSportsOhio.com:

"He'll be back," Meyer said.

Meyer explained the injury and the situation like this: "He stepped on a piece of glass and got 10 or so stitches. A day later he said he was having issues with his toe, he couldn't move it. I was hearing this over the phone and (thinking), You've got to be kidding me.' Then he had surgery for a torn tendon."

Hall was expected to be used in a similar fashion as to how Meyer used Percy Harvin while he was at Florida. When asked how Hall's absence would affect the philosophy as well as other players ability to earn more responsibility, Meyer simply said that he was working on it.
