This spring was once again marked by the annual lamentations about the poor attendance at Progressive Field -- the lowest in the league. But "dollar-dog night" is always bound to be a big draw, and it was again on Thursday evening as the Indians took on the Tampa Bay Rays. Zack Meisel provided some mid-game statistics and the fans were scarfing them down as usual:
The 26,577 in attendance tonight at Progressive Field have eaten 37,184 hot dogs on Dollar Dog Night.

Of course, that's nothing compared to SB Nation's Amateur, who did us all proud this week competing alongside Kobayashi at the Crif Dog Classic.
