Radinsky Firing: Indians Pitchers Take Share Of Blame For Coach's Firing

After suffering through a recent 11-game losing streak, that included giving up runs at an alarming rate, the Cleveland Indians tried to shake things up by firing pitching coach Scott Radinsky.

Regardless of the run-support issues, the Indians' pitching staff was responsible for allowing more runs than any other team in the American League. As a once-promising season slipped away, Cleveland elevated Rueben Niebla to take over the pitching coach duties for Radinksy.

After winning their past two games, including a 5-3 win over Boston on Thursday that saw Ubaldo Jimenez strike out ten batters to earn the win, some of those pitchers lament their part in getting their coach fired. Jason Bautista share a pair of tweets with quote from Jimenez and closer Chris Perez on the firing of Radinsky and the challenge of turning things around during a losing streak.
