Nick Watney put together an impressive Sunday round to bring home the title.

Nick Watney was able to bring home the 2012 Barclays championship, winning the tournament at Bethpage with a score of 10-under.
Watney began the day at eight-under par, two strokes behind Sergio Garcia, however Garcia faltered on Sunday, allowing Watney to move into first place. Garcia finished the tournament tied for third at six-under with Dustin Johnson.
Brandt Snedeker was hot on Watney's trail all afternoon, but could not make his move into first place. He finished in second with a score of seven under par.
Tiger Woods had a meltdown on the course Sunday, shooting five-over par to finish the tournament at one-over.
This is the fifth career win for Watney, and his first FedEx Cup playoff event win. A complete leaderboard can be found HERE.

Beginning the day in second place behind Sergio Garcia, Nick Watney has made his move to first place, as he leads by two strokes after 12 holes. Watney has been shaky as of late, as his four stroke lead has been shaved to two at nine-under after bogeying holes 11 and 12.
Garcia has faded down the stretch, as he has bogeyed three of his last five holes. He is currently two strokes off of the lead, and three-over for the day.
Tied with Garcia for second is Brandt Snedeker, who is one-under for his round through 13 holes. Dustin Johnson's hot finish to his round may not be enough, as he is six-under in the clubhouse, having finished his round.

Jason Day was one of the first players to finish the fourth and final round of The Barclays, and the Australian did so by shooting an impressive 5-under.
The 24-year-old shot 1-under par in both the first and second rounds of play, but struggled on Saturday by shooting a 6-over. Day, who resides in Dublin, Ohio, finished the event at Bethpage State Park with a 1-under overall.
Coming into Sunday, Sergio Garcia led the field in Farmingdale, New York, at 10-under. He is set to tee off at 1:40 p.m. ET. Chasing Garcia is American Nick Watley, who has been near the very top of the leaderboard from the opening round. Watley sits at 8-under coming into the final day.
At 7-under par, Kevin Stradler is also in the hunt, along with Brandt Snedeker and Bob Estes, who are each at 6-under.

With several golfers already out on the course for Sunday's Barclays 2012 action, Jason Day, John Rollins and Jimmy Walker have gotten off to the quickest starts. All three are currently 4-under. Day is through 14 holes, Rollins is through nine and Walker is through seven. Rollins and Walker came into the day at 2-over, and Day started his final round at 4-over.
Sergio Garcia will begin his final round this afternoon as the overall leader at 10-over. He and Nick Watney, who is 8-under and in second place, are in the final pairing, teeing off at 1:40 p.m.
Tiger Woods tees off at 12:20 p.m. and Phil Mickelson tees off at 1 p.m.

Sergio Garcia, who enters Sunday with a two-shot lead over Nick Watney, will begin final-round play at the Barclays at 1:40 p.m. ET.
After finishing victorious at the Wyndham Championship last week to break a four-year winless drought, Garcia now looks to win on back-to-back weekends. He built his lead over playing partner Watney after posting a 2-under 69 on Saturday. Garcia stands at -10, Watney at -8.
Just out of the final group is Kevin Stadler, who charged his way to a 65 on Saturday, putting him at a weeklong total of -7. He will be playing with a one-shot lead over his playing partner Brandt Snedeker. They tee off at 1:30 p.m.
Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods find themselves tied for 10th, six shots off the lead. Mickelson will tee off at 1:00 p.m. with John Senden. Woods will begin at 12:20 p.m. and will play with David Hearn.

Serigo Garcia shot a 2-under 69 to break a tie for the overall lead with Nick Watney at the 2012 Barclays, who shot an even-par 71 Saturday. Garcia is now 10-under and Watney is 8-under after three days.
Kevin Stadler had Saturday's best round, shooting a 6-under 65 to move to 7-under overall and into third place. Phil Mickelson, William McGirt and Tim Clark also had big third rounds, each shooting 4-under and moving up into a tie for 10th place.
Tiger Woods shot a 1-over 72 today. He's 4-under for the tournament and also tied for 10th place.

Garrettsville, Ohio, native Colt Knost missed the cut of 1-over 143 after hitting a 79 during Friday's second round and ending the day at 6-over for the tournament.

The 2012 FedEx Cup action moved into the second round at The Barclays tournament at Bethpage Black on Friday morning, and the best rounds of the day so far belong to Carl Pettersson and Vijay Singh. Singh assumed the top spot as the tournament leader (at least temporarily) around 1 p.m. ET after shooting 4-under par on Friday to place him at 7-under for the first two rounds. Meanwhile, Carl Pettersson jumped over 50 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a 5-under in the second round, putting him at 3-under for the tournament.

The second round of play at the 2012 Barclays tournament in Farmingdale, New York opened up on Friday morning, and Vijay Singh is working to make a big move up the leaderboard. Singh posted birdies on holes Nos. 1, 7 and 9 through the first nine holes, helping him to move into the top five overall on the leaderboard during the early portion of play with a score of 3-under through nine holes and a 6-under overall for the tournament. Ernie Els hasn't fared quite as well, as the veteran posted bogeys on holes Nos. 10 and 13 for a 2-over par through six.

Padraig Harrington is the clubhouse leader in Day 1 of the the 2012 Barclays tournament at Bethpage Black Course in New York. Harrington finished his day shooting a 7-under 64.
Garrettsville, Ohio native Colt Knost hung tough during the first day of action, as he shot a 2-under 69, tying him for 23rd on the leaderboard with notables such as Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, and others. Australian Jason Day, who now resides in Columbus, Ohio, is one shot back of Knost and the group, as he shot a 1-under 70.
Americans Nick Watney and Brian Harman share second place, as both finished the day with a 6-under 74. Of the group that is directly behind those two, Jimmy Walker is the only one who is still out on the course, as he is currently 5-under through 16 holes. Tiger Woods, who is always at the center of attention at PGA events, completed his day at 3-under par.

The first round of 2012 FedEx Cup action at Barclays started on Thursday morning, and local golfer Colt Knost is doing well to keep pace with big names like Tigers Woods, Lee Westwood and others. Knost started on the back nine and posted a score of 1-under par over that span of play thanks to a birdie on hole No. 14. Woods has managed to shoot 2-under through 11 holes and Westwood joins Knost at 1-under, but after 15 holes. The early lead belongs to Padraig Harrington and American golfer Nick Watney, both of whom sit at 5-under through 14 holes.
The Golf Channel will carry coverage of the first round from 2 p.m. ET and broadcast until 6 p.m. ET, but that will be after Knost, Woods and McIlroy have finished their rounds.
