Bri'onte Dunn Pleads Innocent To Disorderly Conduct Charge

Stay connected for news and updates

On Thursday, Ohio State running back Bri'onte Dunn pleaded innocent to a disorderly conduct charge that stemmed from his weekend arrest.

Dunn was pulled over early Sunday morning in a routine traffic stop, which ultimately ended with police officers finding a small amount of marijuana and a pipe in the car. Dunn denied that that drugs or the paraphernalia were his possessions; it was later discovered that they belonged to his mother after she arrived at the scene and claimed ownership.

Dunn's arraignment is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 8. The disorderly conduct charge is a minor misdemeanor offense and is due to the reporting officers claiming that Dunn almost hit a patrol car.

Ohio State is scheduled to open practice on Friday and Dunn is expected to compete for playing time.
