Sophomore shooting guard Dez Wells will visit Ohio State in the near future.

Sophomore shooting guard Dezmine Wells will visit Ohio State, Memphis, Maryland and Oregon over the Labor Day weekend and is expected to make his decision on a new school fairly soon, according to a report by Dave Telep of ESPN. Wells was expelled from Xavier on Aug. 21 due to "a serious violation of the Code of Student Conduct" related to allegations of sexual assault.

The 6'5, 215-pound SG has the size, skill and athleticism that NBA scouts look for, and many schools are pursuing him as he shops for a second chance in NCAA basketball. Louisville, Memphis and Texas have been mentioned as the most likely landing spots for Wells.

Meanwhile, over at Land-Grant Holy Land, Luke Zimmermann has a breakdown of the entire 2012-13 schedule for fans who want to plot out the path to another Big Ten Championship and a deep run into the NCAA Tournament during the month of March.
