Indians Vs. Twins: Justin Masterson Knocked Around In 7-2 Loss

Justin Masterson allowed six earned runs over 6.2 innings in the start as the Indians fell to the Twins 7-2 in Minnesota on Monday night.

A sac fly from Justin Morneau scored the first run of the game in the fourth inning. The Indians tied the game in the sixth, but the Twins scored two in the bottom frame. Minnesota broke the game open in the seventh with three runs.

Cleveland finished with just three hits. The runs were scored on a sac fly from Carlos Santana and a solo home run from Lonnie Chisenhall. Michael Brantley went 1-for-4, while Brent Lillibridge went 1-for-3.

The loss dropped the Tribe into a tie with the Twins for fourth place in the division.
