College Football Schedule 2012: Buckeyes, Zips, Flashes In Action This Week

Ohio State, Akron and Kent State play this weekend.

Ohio is one of America's hubs for college football, and three teams near the greater Cleveland area are in action beginning Wednesday.

Kent State is at Buffalo on ESPNU at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday night. Both teams are 1-1.

Winless UAB is in Columbus to play the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes (3-0) Saturday on the Big Ten Network at noon E.T.

Akron (1-2) goes to Knoxville Saturday to play the Tennessee Volunteers (2-1) at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN3.

Louisiana Tech at Illinois, 8 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network

Syracuse at Minnesota, 8 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network
