The Ohio Bobcats are the only unbeaten team in the MAC as they open their conference schedule on Saturday.
Four weeks into the season, the Ohio Bobcats haven't begun their MAC schedule, but they are the only team in the conference that hasn't lost a game yet. As conference play begins across the MAC on Saturday, Ohio should be in a strong position to maintain that record, too.
Coming off a 44-10 win over Norfolk State last Saturday, the Bobcats open their MAC schedule by facing arguably the worst team in the conference, the winless UMass Minutemen. UMass has lost its first four games by an average score of 43-9, so Ohio has a good shot at improving to 5-0.
Ball State, Toledo and Northern Illinois are currently 3-1 on the year, with the latter two teams riding three-game winning streaks. All of those teams are in the West division, though, putting Ohio in a position to lead the East division with a win on Saturday.
