It's a light week for local college hockey, as the Bowling Green Falcons are the only Ohio-based team in action.
It's a slow week for college hockey in Ohio. The No. 6 Miami (OH) RedHawks and Ohio State Buckeyes are both idle, and only the Bowling Green Falcons are set to take the ice this weekend. It's been a rough season for Bowling Green (4-10-4), and in a strange twist, it's actually a good thing that they face three-straight road games. The Falcons are 1-7-2 at home, but they've posted a far more respectable 3-3-2 mark on the road.
On Saturday and Sunday, they play a two-game series with Canisius, and that leads into a Tuesday match-up with Michigan.
Here is a look at Bowling Green's upcoming schedule for this week. Can they turn things around and make a strong push during the second half of the men's hockey season?
