Akron had 751 yards of total offense as the Zips beat Morgan State 66-6 Saturday.
Akron led 21-6 at halftime and then pulled away in the third quarter. Quarterback Dalton Williams, who was 37-for-49 passing for 441 yards and 3 touchdowns, found Andrew Pratt for one of his two second half touchdown catches with 7:35 left in the third quarter. Williams accumulated his impressive numbers without even playing in the fourth quarter or part of the third quarter. He was relieved by backup Kyle Pohl, who connected with Jerrod Dillard for 28-yards late in the third quarter and then to Pratt for 37-yards in the fourth.
Connor Hundley ran for two touchdowns and Dee Frieson ran for one. Jawon Chisholm had 125 yards on 19 carries for the Zips. Marquelo Suel had 6 catches for 98 yards and Pratt caught 3 passes for 90 yards.
Akron and Morgan State are both 1-2 on the season.

Dalton Williams has thrown two first-half touchdown passes and passed for 264 yards in the first half as Akron has a 21-6 lead over Morgan State at halftime Saturday.
Williams has completed 24 of 35 passes. He connected with Tyrell Goodman on a 17-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and found Rhyne Ladrach for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Conor Hundley scored Akron's other touchdown on a 1-yard run in the first quarter.
Earvin Gonzalez kicked two field goals for Morgan State, connecting from 40 yards in the first quarter and 43 yards in the second quarter. He missed a 39-yard attempt just before halftime.
Jawon Chisholm has rushed for 85 yards on 13 carries and Marquelo Suel has caught six passes for 98 yards in the first half.
Akron has 302 yards of total offense to just 137 total yards for Morgan State, but the Zips also have the game's only two turnovers.
