Morgan State Vs. Akron: Dalton Williams Has Big First Half As Zips Lead 21-6

Dalton Williams has thrown two first-half touchdown passes and passed for 264 yards in the first half as Akron has a 21-6 lead over Morgan State at halftime Saturday.

Williams has completed 24 of 35 passes. He connected with Tyrell Goodman on a 17-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and found Rhyne Ladrach for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Conor Hundley scored Akron's other touchdown on a 1-yard run in the first quarter.

Earvin Gonzalez kicked two field goals for Morgan State, connecting from 40 yards in the first quarter and 43 yards in the second quarter. He missed a 39-yard attempt just before halftime.

Jawon Chisholm has rushed for 85 yards on 13 carries and Marquelo Suel has caught six passes for 98 yards in the first half.

Akron has 302 yards of total offense to just 137 total yards for Morgan State, but the Zips also have the game's only two turnovers.
