The Cleveland Browns picked up a big win by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Strong defense prevailed in the end, in a game that had very little offense and few surprised. Cleveland stifled a last minute comeback with Jacksonville in the red zone. Kicker Phil Dawson missed multiple field goals, though, which didn't help an offense that was already struggling. Either way, the Browns find themselves going up in most weekly power rankings.

24. The defense made a big stop late against Jacksonville to win a game without much offense. That defense has some good, young players to build around.
Just a week ago, Pete Prisco had the Browns as the second-worst team in the league on the rankings, above only the winless Indianapolis Colts. That's a seven point increase for the Browns, who now face a tough schedule ahead, with games against Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Baltimore occupying its next three weeks.
