For the first time since Week 16 of last season the Cleveland Browns have scored a first quarter touchdown.
Quarterback Colt McCoy connected with wide receiver Jordan Norwood on a 24-yard touchdown pass. It was Norwood’s second impressive catch of the drive. After Bengals cornerback Nate Clements fell down, Norwood caught a 36-yard pass down the right sideline.
McCoy spent much of the drive in the shotgun where he is more comfortable. The Browns handed the ball off to the returning Peyton Hillis three times for six yards.
