Even though they lost on Sunday to the rival Cincinnati Bengals, the Cleveland Browns were able to move up a little in this week's SB Nation NFL Power Rankings. Joel Thorman now has the Browns at the No. 22 spot, which may be a byproduct of them playing in the toughest division in football. The Bengals, Steelers, and Ravens are all fighting for playoff spots with five weeks to go, meaning that the Browns have faced very tough competition so far:

22. Cleveland Browns (4-7, LW: 24): Why your team loses: Sunday was just the second time this year the Browns have scored 20 or more points in a game. (And they still lost.)

As Thorman notes, the offensive consistency of the Browns has been severely lacking this year. Colt McCoy and the offense struggle to score points every week, and injuries to Peyton Hillis have not helped their cause. Still, they have managed to squeeze out four wins on the strength of the defense.
