Baltimore Ravens' linebacker Ray Lewis will miss his third straight game on Sunday when his team does divisional battle with the Cleveland Browns. It will be the most consecutive games Lewis has missed since 2005 when he was lost for 10 weeks due to a hamstring injury. Lewis did not practice all week with the turf toe injury, so it shouldn't be too surprising that he is inactive.
Calling the plays at the middle linebacker position will be Jameel McClain. Lewis’ backup, Dannell Ellerbe, is active after missing last week with a thigh injury and will likely start at inside linebacker.
The Ravens will also be without cornerback Chris Carr for the second straight week due to a back injury.
Here are the other inactives for the Ravens this week vs. the Browns:
- wide receiver LaQuan Williams
- wide receiver Tandon Doss,
- cornerback Chykie Brown,
- running back Anthony Allen, and
- linebacker Sergio Kindle.
