Week 14 NFL Power Rankings: ESPN Drops Browns One Spot

The Cleveland Browns find themselves in a very bad position. The AFC North division is now out of reach and they're having to look to the future - like 2012 - instead of the playoffs this season. A second-straight loss to a divisional rival on Sunday was not only deflating, it's making them fall even further in the weekly power rankings. The team had a golden opportunity in playing both the Cincinnati Bengals and then the Baltimore Ravens, especially with the Pittsburgh Steelers coming up next, but weren't able to get a win.

ESPN drops them another spot in their Week 14 NFL power rankings:

28. How bad is Cleveland's offense? The Browns have scored just one more point (175) than the winless Colts (174). (Walker)

That's one spot down from their previous spot, and a scathing stat. Their offense, lead by Colt McCoy, hasn't been able to function without running back Peyton Hillis. And with Hillis, they neglect to give him more than a handful of carries. Something has got to give.
