In Mile High Report Mock, Browns Trade Down, Get Georgia WR AJ Green

In Mile High Report’s official community mock draft, which features representatives from all over the community, the Cleveland Browns made the first big trade of the draft and swapped spots with the Minnesota Vikings, who hold the 12th selection in the draft.

General Manager Idaho Nate was thrilled to find out that one of the top players in the entire draft slipped through the cracks.

When the Washington Redskins surprised everyone and made Julio Jones the first wide receiver selected, Green’s Crabtree-like fall ended at no. 12 overall with Cleveland, who were elated to select him.

Not only was Cleveland’s mock GM able to acquire extra picks for the draft, they were also able to nab what has to be assumed as their top target in the whole process.

From GM Idaho Nate:

We are thrilled to get AJ Green at #12! We felt Green was the best WR in the draft and he was #1 on our board. We think that Colt McCoy has a very bright future in the NFL and we knew we needed to provide Colt with a dangerous playmaker on the outside. AJ Green definately fits that bill.
