2011 NFL Mock Draft: Browns Get A.J. Green In Latest Mock From SB Nation

Stay connected for news and updates

The fellas over at SB Nation just came out with the latest edition of the 2011 NFL Mock Draft, and they have a nice little present dropping to the Browns with the No. 6 overall pick. Despite pointing out that he might be the absolute best player in the Draft, they have Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green falling to the Browns. Here is their rationale.

Along with Peterson, Green is most often mentioned as the best player in this draft class regardless of position. Sure, the Browns need help defensively, but getting Colt McCoy elite skill talent makes just as much - if not more - sense.

I understand that the Browns have some holes along the defensive front, but you can't really pass up on a talent like A.J. Green if he falls in your lap; especially when wide receiver is a pretty big need as well. I think the Browns would be very happy to take one of the defensive lineman who should be available to them, but if Green falls to them, I don't think they hesitate in pulling the trigger.
