Browns vs. Colts 2012: Game preview, kickoff time, TV schedule and more

Jason Miller

The battle of two rookie quarterbacks is expected to be very even as the Colts are only one-point favorites over the Browns.

Had a game between the Colts and Browns in Indianapolis been played just one week earlier, the line would've been much more in favor of the home team. Instead the Colts are coming off a bad 35-9 loss to the Jets, while the Browns earned their first victory of the season with a 34-24 win over the Bengals.

While aided by an interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, the Week 6 victory over the Bengals represented another sign of improved offensive play by the Browns. They eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for only the second time in the season (both against the Bengals).

The Bengals are in the bottom half of the league in most defensive categories and are No. 21 against the run, but even lower are the Colts, who rank as the No. 29 team at stopping the run.

To keep the Colts off the board, the Browns will have to slow an offense led by Andrew Luck. The first overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft has seven touchdowns and seven interceptions so far in his rookie campaign, but leads a team that has one of the worst turnover differentials.

Forcing turnovers and being wary of turning over the ball themselves will be a priority for the Browns as they look for their second win of the season.
