The Browns 25-15 loss to Baltimore was frustrating for fans, but there were still some positives in the game.
The Cleveland Browns 25-15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens left plenty of Browns fans frustrated, but it wasn't all negative.
Cleveland led in the fourth quarter and appeared poised for the upset, but failed to capitalize on a number of opportunities and ultimately made too many mistakes. As Chris Pokorny of Dawgs By Nature said, a win would have been great for fan support as the organization begins under new owner Jimmy Haslam, but the loss will only bring more questions regarding the status of head coach Pat Shurmur.
Still, despite the loss to the rival Ravens, it wasn't all bad for the Browns on Sunday. Brandon Weeden struggled, but Pokorny expects him to rebound down the stretch. Trent Richardson continues to run well and looks healthy and as Pokorny notes, the Browns defense played well against the Ravens.
Cleveland has struggled to break through and win the close games this season, but that isn't a trend Pokorny expects to continue.
It's only a matter of time before this team establishes some more consistency to win these types of games.
