NFL Injury Report: Browns stay healthy vs. Ravens, but still missing key players

Stay connected for news and updates

The Cleveland Browns had at least one positive outcome from their frustrating 25-15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday: they came away with no new injuries.

Still, the team was short five players, all of whom could miss time in future games. Cornerback Dimitri Patterson sat out his fourth consecutive game with a high ankle sprain that he suffered in Week 5. He has not practiced since the injury occurred. Defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin was out of practice all week as well, and missed his second straight game with a calf injury.

Offensive tackle Ryan Miller, cornerback Tashaun Gipson and wide receiver Josh Cooper were out of action in Week 9 as well. Defensive tackle Phil Taylor was active against the Ravens and made his first start of the season. Tight end Alex Smith was active as well, and caught three passes for eight yards.

The Browns, who have a bye this week, hope to have at least some of the players back for their Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
