The Browns own the No. 4 and No. 22 overall picks in the upcoming draft, but are rumored to be looking to trade up to the No. 2 pick in order to select Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
In spite of his illness, Heckert will take part in the process from the Browns office, where he will reportedly participate in player interviews via Skype.
