Super Bowl XLVI: Kickoff Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream And More

The wait is almost over as Super Bowl XVLI finally kicks off on Sunday evening after a 10-day party in Indianapolis, as the New York Giants and New England Patriots are ready to play the big game at Lucas Oil Stadium.

NBC will televise the football spectacle with their pre-game show beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET which should provide a nice level of background noise as Super Bowl revelers gather at their favorite watering hole or house party. The actual game broadcast starts at 6:00 p.m. ET with player introductions, the coin flip and Kelly Clarkson's rendition of the national anthem leading up to kick off at 6:30 p.m.

Location: Lucas Oil Stadium (73,000 capacity) in Indianapolis, IN .

Kickoff time: 6:30 p.m. -- approximately.

TV coverage: NBC -- Al Michaels (play-by-play), Cris Collinswoth (color commentary)

Online coverage: Watch the Super Bowl online through NBC or on your mobile phone.

National anthem singer: American Idol season one winner, Kelly Clarkson, will sing the national anthem.

Halftime show performer: Madonna.

Super Bowl commercial cost: The average 30-second commercial for Super Bowl 46 cost $3.5-million (a new record).
