NFL Free Agency: Browns Sign Juqua Parker To One-Year Contract

The Cleveland Browns have signed their second defensive lineman in free agency, inking Juqua Parker to a one-year deal, according to the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora. Parker's deal will reportedly pay him a max of $3 million for one year.

Via @JasonLaCanfora:

Parker spent the past seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, rushing off the edge in that team's notorious pressure and blitz-happy defensive system. He recorded 1.5 sacks in 12 games with the Eagles last year. He joins Frostee Rucker as the second defensive line free agent the Browns have signed in as many days. Rucker stated this morning that the team had told him he would start opposite Jabaal Sheard, so the Parker signing is to add depth and to fill a reserve role most likely.
